We are currently seeking a Greer to Go Contractor located in Fort MacMurrary and surrounding areas.

 

This is a contract position that is renewed annually based on performance.

 

Role

Responsible for contribution to WEG Gross Margin (GM) success by; growing and expanding GM as well as client base.

 

Reports to:  Sales Manager

 

Key Mandates

 

Client Management & New Account Acquisition

 

  • Continue and develop relationships with assigned customers incorporating regular visit schedule (minimum 6 weeks cycle).
  • Actively prospect for new customers – mirror the target verticals (mirror your territory) – to reach GM target.

 

Gross Margin Growth

 

  • Generate new GM dollars from new customer accounts every 6 months period.
  • Meet or exceed Yearly Growth Target (GM dollars) over previous year.

 

Business Practices & Planning

 

  • Make a minimum of 15 face-to-face calls per day:  30% existing customers; 70% prospects.
  • Capture details of each call on Microsoft Dynamics at time of call.
  • Follow sales procedures using established forms where relevant (ie. Customer Sales Interview Form).
  • Act as key liaison for problem solving.
  • Complete and execute sales plan, goals & targets.
  • Implement and build success with W.E. Greer marketing plan & specials.
  • Manage and physical attendance at the Fort MacMurrary branch on Monday thru Friday from 8:00 am to 11:00 am to provide service to walk in customers.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Two or more years in a similar environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent telephone manner.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools and ability to learn company ERP system.
  • Ability to learn and understand product applications.
  • Ability to “think” on your feet and make value added decisions with minimal direction.

Compensation

 

  • Commission on the GROSS MARGIN (GM) on the accounts in their Territory Zones:

 

  • Commission on Gross Margin of Legacy (existing) accounts
  • Higher commission structure on Gross Margin of New Accounts (note that New Accounts have 24 months term from the date of the first purchase/GM and will convert to a Legacy account thereafter):

 

The Territory Zones will be Fort MacMurrary and surrounding areas which already has significant existing business (ie. Legacy).  It is expected that the Greer to Go contractor will earn $60,000+ in commission per year in their first or second year.  Existing Greer to Go contractors in other territories earn $100k+/year.

 

  • Draws against future commission:

 

  • Greer to Go contractor will be paid $4,000 / month ($2,000 / semi-monthly) draws against future commissions. Any negative draw balance will be carried forward and applied to future commissions prior to any additional commissions being paid out.

 

  • Benefit Plan:

 

  • WEG Employee Benefit Plan (to be confirmed) is eligible to the Contractor EXCEPT for disability and death benefits so long as 90% of the Contractor’s total income is earned through WEG. From time to time, proof may be required to satisfy the audits of WEG’s benefit provider.
  • Costs for the benefit plan is 50/50 shared between WEG and the Contractor which the Contractor’s costs will be deducted from the Contractor’s semi-monthly draw amounts.

 

W.E. Greer Ltd. will provide:

 

  • One Greer to Go truck or similar (will change from time to time)
  • One company cellular with mobility plan
  • A company laptop
  • One Shell gas card for the purpose of purchasing fuel used on business purposes.
